Licensing Compliance Simplified: The Kamma-Reapit Integration

Letting Agents & Landlords
News

The Kamma app is officially live on the Reapit marketplace! This integration arrives just in time to confront the introduction of fifteen new licensing schemes and six current consultations in the first half of the year alone.

Kamma’s Reapit integration empowers you to effortlessly manage your licensing compliance through:

  • Automatic syncing with your Reapit properties to allow 24/7 monitoring of your licensing status on each property
  • Clear, straightforward guidance on the licensing you need tailored by location, occupancy, and household types
  • In-platform application tracking, allowing you to update your application status with ease and apply for new licences through our Kamma referral service

How does the app work with Reapit?

The Kamma app on Reapit automatically reads attributes from your existing properties such as location, people and households, and licensing designations to make onboarding onto the app seamless.

All you have to do is download the Kamma app from the Reapit App marketplace found in your dashboard to get started:

How do I check licensing requirements with Kamma?

Once you’ve installed the Kamma app, simply navigate to the property you want to check and click the ‘Apps’ button on the top row to find and launch Kamma.

And, voila! Welcome to Kamma’s licensing interface:

Staying updated on new licensing schemes is simpler than ever – you’ll be able to clearly see which properties are compliant, what licence is needed, and actions to take. In this example, we can see that the property in question requires a selective licence.

How do I update my licensing information?

Already applied or been granted a licence? No problem! Just scroll down to the section titled ‘Licences associated to the property’ and add details for a completed licence application or a granted licence.

For licence applications, you’ll be able to update the Kamma app with the progress of your application to see at a glance where your property lies on the compliance journey. Here’s what you’ll see once you’ve added your application details:

Once the council approves your application, you can add a response with the yellow button to update it as granted. Now that all the relevant licensing information is up to date, your property will be marked as compliant:

This status at the top of the page will automatically update if your licence has expired or new regulations are put in place, allowing you to have 24/7 monitoring on the latest licensing requirements for your properties.

What if I haven’t applied for a HMO licence yet?

No licence yet? No problem! Kamma even offers an application service which can handle the tedious council applications for you. Simply press the ‘Use Kamma Application Service’ button to get in touch, and we’ll handle the rest. This application service comes with the added bonus on making profit for your agency through landlord referrals, allowing you to turn compliance into profit with ease!

Don’t let the ever-changing regulations slow you down. Embrace the future of property management with Kamma on Reapit. Interested in seeing how it can revolutionise your agency’s compliance strategy?
