How it works

Help at all three moments that matter

Winning the instruction, getting the tenancy started, and keeping on top of it afterwards. Nobody on your team needs to read a council website again.

Stage 1 · At the valuation

Win instructions with confidence

Type in any UK address and get the answer in under 30 seconds: which licence the property needs, who has to hold it, and exactly what the council charges.

Instant address check. No spreadsheets, no phone calls to the council.
A report with your logo on it. Two clicks, then hand it to the landlord.

Stage 2 · Before move-in

Leave the paperwork to us

If a property needs a licence, ask us to do the application from inside Kamma. We fill it in, submit it to the council, and keep everyone posted.

We handle the paperwork. Start to finish, at a discounted rate.
Progress lands in your CRM. Submitted, granted, renewal due — automatically.

In their words
“We had used another provider, but their technology lacked the accuracy and depth we needed. Moving to Kamma has been a clear step change.”

“The quality of the data and the reliability of the platform have made a real difference to how we manage compliance across our portfolio. What sets Kamma apart is strong technology plus excellent support — responsive, knowledgeable and proactive.”

Questions letting agents ask

Still have questions? Talk to our team.

How long does setup take?+

Most agencies are up and running in two weeks. We import your portfolio, connect your CRM, tidy up the addresses, and train the team.

Which CRMs do you work with?+

Reapit, MRI, Street.co.uk, Apex27, Acquaint and Rex. We read your addresses and write licence status, alerts and renewal dates back onto the property record.

Can I use Kamma without connecting my CRM?+

Yes. Plenty of agencies start with the Kamma dashboard on its own and connect the CRM a month or two later. Nothing is held back.

How fast do I hear about a new scheme?+

Usually within hours of the council announcing it. Our research team maps the scheme, then affected properties are flagged in your dashboard, by email, and in your CRM.

What does a property's status look like?+

Green, amber or red, plus a short list of what to do next. Property managers see their own properties, branch managers see the branch, and directors see the whole group.

How do you keep the data right?+

Our team checks every UK council every week and verifies schemes, boundaries and fees against official records before anything reaches your dashboard. We have been doing this since 2017.

What if I want to stop?+

Annual plans end at renewal. Monthly plans end at any month-end with one month's notice. You can export your data on the way out.

Is there a free trial?+

Not a self-service one, but every demo includes a 20-minute look at your own portfolio. We load a sample of your properties and show you live which ones have a problem.
