●   Agents can now get all of their licensing and property compliance needs covered in the same place thanks to a new proptech partnership between Complylex and Kamma

April 8, 2022 – Geospatial technology firm Kamma are a part of another partnership, this time with leading property compliance platform, Complylex. The partnership will provide all Complylex users with access to Kamma’s instant property licensing checks, helping them stay on top of their compliance amidst regulations changing all the time around the country.

The growth of discretionary licensing schemes across the 408 local authorities in the UK, especially now in April, has created a complex web of rules and regulations that landlords and agents have to follow, with unlicensed properties leading to fines and Rent Repayment Orders. Complying with licensing regulations is an ongoing burden that agents must deal with. This partnership marks a landmark step forward in Kamma’s ambition to solve property licensing for letting agents, removing complexity and freeing up time to focus on core business.

Complylex customers will benefit from partnership offers and discounted rates for Kamma’s services. In addition to receiving email alerts on new and ever changing legislation related to residential lettings, residential sales, COVID-19 and insurance, users in England and Wales will now also be able to receive live updates about any changes to licensing regulations affecting their property portfolio.

This innovative partnership has come about to remove complexity from letting agents’ and property professionals’ daily lives and to provide their business with new ways to stand out from the competition.  As Kamma CEO, Orla Shields, explains:

“We are excited to announce this fantastic partnership with Complylex which will enable their users to stay compliant with changing licensing regulations much more easily and free themselves up to focus on their core business. With the administrative burden of regulatory compliance completely removed thanks to our partnership, this partnership can help any letting and sales agencies, and other property professionals, to stand out from the competition.”

Michael Stoop, CEO at Complylex continues:

We are delighted to partner with Kamma and create yet another important compliance strand, to the Complylex platform. For every lettings and sales agent operating in England and Wales, to have this app, not only as a valuable learning tool, but also as a constant reference point for all things sales and lettings together with the ability to now access all their property licensing and compliance in one place, is fantastic for the industry.
