You’ve got questions, we’ve got answers

Licensing requirements can be complicated, difficult to find and have big consequences if you’re caught out. Not only are you at risk of fines directly from the council, you could face rent repayment orders of up to 24 months under the Renters’ Rights Bill. You can even face losing your income stream if you receive a Banning Order.

At Kamma we know licensing compliance isn’t the most exciting thing on your mind, so we’ve made it easy. For less than the cost of landlord insurance you can create the peace of mind that your properties are safe.

You can add up to 12 properties included in the basic subscription.

However, you can have an unlimited number of properties on your account for an additional fee. If you have more than 12 properties, contact our sales team for a bespoke quote. 

If you already have a basic subscription and would like to add additional properties, our dedicated customer success team can help you to upgrade your account. 

Once you sign up to Kamma, you will receive an onboarding email with details of how to access your account and helpful how to videos to upload your properties onto the system. If you need help, our dedicated customer success team is on hand to support you.

To add properties individually you will click add on the dashboard, add a property ID/Reference which needs to be unique to the property and click add.

Data required: This means we do not have enough information from the client to determine what licence is required, if any. It can be that we don’t have the people and household fields filled out or the postcode is inactive (This can happen if the property is a new build or it is not in our current address base data.)

Data complete: This means we have everything from you to determine what licence is required, you now need to approve the property and upload the licence document.

Licence requirement set: This means we are waiting for you to upload the licence, once this is completed the property will move to compliant.

Compliant: You are fully compliant, there is nothing else that we need from you at this stage, we are now able to fully monitor this property for any changes that may occur.

This is the percentage of your properties that fall within that category. Ideally we want this to get to 100% compliant.
